RETURNS/EXCHANGES - ONLINE PURCHASES
In compliance with Australian Consumer Law, KAAFTAN is not required to provide a refund if you make a wrong selection, need a different size or change your mind. This includes items purchased using Afterpay and Zippay.
By finalising your order you are agreeing to these terms.
While we take care to ensure that you receive an item that is in perfect condition, sometimes faults can be missed. If you have received a damaged item please ensure we are contacted within 3 days of receiving your parcel.
In the event that you have received an item with minor fault, we will first attempt to replace or repair the item. If this is not possible you will be offered the option of a credit note. As per ACCC a refund for an item with a minor fault is at the companies discretion.
If you receive an item which is deemed by KAAFTAN as having a major fault. It is at the customers discretion to choose a replacement, store credit or a refund. If the item was purchased using a Gift Card, the amount will be credited back to the gift card and not refunded.
Note that Gift Cards/Store credits cannot be cancelled for a cash refund.
Should an item shrink, tear or break due to improper care KAAFTAN is not responsible for a replacement, refund or credit note.
If you have purchased with Afterpay it's important to note that your personal agreement with Afterpay will still stand and you will continue to pay any scheduled repayments and/or late fees.

Cancellations
Should you wish to cancel your order before it has been fulfilled please contact us immediately on kaaftan@hotmail.com. If your order has already been fulfilled/ processed by us or if it is over 2 hours after you have placed your order unfortunately we are unable to cancel your order as it would have already been processed. In this instance our standard returns policy applies.
SALE ITEMS
- ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE, THERE IS NO EXCHANGE OR REFUNDS ON ANY SALE ITEMS INCLUDING ITEMS PURCHASED WITH A DISCOUNT CODE DURING A SALE.
- Items must be returned in original condition, unworn, unaltered, unwashed and with their tags attached, void of any make up or odours / scents.

Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping for change of mind or incorrect fit is customer borne and non refundable. We recommend keeping your tracking details as KAAFTAN are not liable for returns lost in transit. If you have received a faulty or incorrect item - we will bear the return shipping cost.
We recommend that you use registered post or a trackable courier when returning an item as we cannot accept responsibility for items lost in transit to us.
Upon receipt of the merchandise, we will refund you the purchase price of the item/s, less any shipping costs incurred when the goods were purchased.
SALE ITEMS
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on any sale items, these purchases are final sale. Please select carefully during sale periods to avoid any disappointments.
PRE-ORDERS:
Our 'Pre-Order' section showcases our best-sellers on repeat and the latest fashion 'coming soon' , available to purchase in advance.
- A pre-order is a (normal) purchase online to secure your item/s.
- Purchasing a preorder is final, preorders cannot be cancelled/refunded, we allow a size change if available. By purchasing a preorder you agree to our preorder policy & terms and conditions.
- You will receive a notification when your pre-order arrives followed by shipment details.
- Our pre-orders can take anywhere from 1-6 weeks, this will be noted on it's listing.
* Extra items purchased in the same order as the pre-order will be held aside until the pre-order arrives as it has been calculated under the one shipping fee,
- Otherwise please place a separate order should you wish to receive those styles in stock immediately which will incur a separate shipping fee.
RETURNS WITH AFTERPAY / LAYBUY
All returns and exchanges from customers using Afterpay will be liable for the associated fees and charges.
If you have purchased with Afterpay it's important to note that your personal agreement with Afterpay will still stand and you will continue to pay any scheduled repayments and/or late fees.

Afterpay orders will incur a 10% return fee, the 10% is charged on the purchase price of the products ordered. Any refund or exchange of an item purchased by a customer using Afterpay will have the associated fees deducted from their store credit amount.
SHIPPING
You may choose which shipping method you prefer at Checkout. The options we currently have available are below.

Within Australia:
All orders are dispatched within 24 hours of placing your order to us.
We use Sendle standard delivery with signature required when possible if not we utilise the services of Australia Post
Delivery is estimated to be between 3-7 business days.
You can track your order with a tracking number that will be emailed to you once items have been dispatched.
All shipping is at the customers risk.
Once items have been lodged for delivery, we do not hold responsibility for lost parcels or packages damaged in transit.
Please contact Sendle or Australia Post and advise them that your order has not arrived.
You will need to quote your tracking number that was sent in your shipping confirmation e-mail. If the carrier is unable to locate your item, please contact us at kaaftan@hotmail.com and we will lodge an enquiry for you.
PROCESSING TIME
Standard orders placed Monday through Friday (excluding Public Holidays) will be processed and shipped within three business days, unless the orders are on 'pre-order' status. Please allow 5-7 business days to receive your order with standard shipping. If you live in a regional area, please allow a few extra days for delivery.
Express Post orders will typically ship the next business day. Orders placed Friday-Sunday will ship out Monday, and will be received within 1-2 business days from the date of the parcel being shipped. If you require your Express Post order to be shipped the same day as you placed the order, email us at kaaftan@hotmail.com and we will do our best to get your order despatched same day.
KAAFTAN will re-deliver, replace or refund any parcel that is incorrectly labelled by us. We do not take responsibility for delivery addresses that are incorrectly provided or insufficient.
